My Medicare
The Firle Medical Centre is an accredited medical practice. Practice accreditation signifies that the medical centre has met or exceeded the standards of the RACGP in providing a building that is equipped with the necessary equipment and processes to support safe and high-quality medical practice. The doctors who choose to locate their General Practice at Firle Medical Centre are eligible for My-Medicare . This is a government initiative in which you select your regular doctor and the location of their practice. In conjunction with this program, the patient you will be entitled to some benefits for consultations with this doctor and any other physician practising at Firle Medical Centre. At this stage, the benefits relate to longer telephone consultations but there are some changes planned to enable more bulk billing in the future.
If you wish to register your relationship with your General practitioner on My-Medicare you can do so by accessing your “My Gov” page and selecting your regular GP, or by completing the practice registration form below and forwarding it to reception for lodging by your GP.
